The grapes for Weingut Wolf Riesling 2021 come from multiple sites around Großkarlbach and the surrounding villages in the Pfalz, an area known for its warm, sunny climate, diverse soils and excellent ripening conditions for Riesling. In his early years back at the family estate, Dennis Wolf vinified all Riesling parcels separately to understand which vineyards would yield the most distinctive wines; what did not go into the top single-site bottlings was ultimately blended into this estate Riesling. The individual components were allowed extended time on their lees and were only assembled and bottled later, using gravity rather than pumps to move the wine and avoiding filtration. This gentle, low‑intervention approach helps preserve texture, aromatic nuance and a sense of place in the finished cuvée.
