Production

Kühn favors a gentle, minimalist approach: slow, natural fermentations—often with ambient yeasts—take place in stainless steel and/or large traditional wooden casks, followed by extended time on the lees. The result is a dry Rheingau Riesling that captures both the energy of the vintage and the deep, textural complexity that is typical of Klosterberg.
