Tasting Notes
Pale straw-gold in the glass, this wine typically shows remarkable clarity and finesse. The nose is usually lifted and expressive, with notes of white peach, citrus zest, green apple, slate, and subtle floral accents. On the palate, it balances ripe fruit with finely tuned acidity and a touch of sweetness in the feinherb style, giving it both freshness and depth. The finish is long, mineral, and refined, with the concentration and structure to age gracefully for many years, developing more complex petrol, honey, and dried fruit nuances over time.

Production
Graacher Domprobst is a steep, slate-rich vineyard in the Mosel, where cool conditions and excellent drainage help produce Riesling with purity, tension, and mineral drive. Markus Molitor is known for meticulous vineyard work and selective harvesting, often picking in multiple passes to capture optimal ripeness. Fermentation is typically slow and natural, allowing the wine to retain detail, balance, and terroir expression.

Food & Serving
This style of Riesling works beautifully with spicy Asian dishes, roast poultry, pork, shellfish, and rich freshwater fish, as well as dishes with a touch of sweetness or heat. Serve well chilled, around 8–10°C, and there is usually no need to decant, though a little air can help if the wine is very youthful.
