Tasting Notes
Bright and pale gold in appearance, the wine opens with aromas of ripe peach, green apple and citrus, complemented by subtle floral tones and a gently stony minerality. On the palate, it is concentrated yet poised, offering flavours of nectarine, lemon and pear supported by vibrant acidity and a clean, dry finish. The 2022 vintage brings generous fruit and appealing ripeness while retaining the freshness expected from Riesling. It is enjoyable now, but its balance and mineral structure should allow it to develop further complexity over the next several years.

Production
The Mandelpfad vineyard in Laumersheim benefits from the warm, sunny climate of the northern Pfalz, with limestone-rich soils that contribute freshness, structure and a pronounced mineral character. The grapes are carefully selected at harvest before being gently pressed and fermented to preserve Riesling’s natural aromatics and site expression. Further maturation allows the wine to integrate its fruit, acidity and mineral depth.

Food & Serving
Serve well chilled at approximately 8–10°C. This Riesling is a versatile partner for seafood, grilled fish, shellfish, sushi and dishes featuring fresh herbs or citrus. It also works beautifully with lightly spiced Asian cuisine, roast poultry and creamy goat’s cheese. Decanting is not essential, although a brief airing in the glass or a small decanter can help reveal additional aromatic detail.
