Tasting Notes
In the glass, the wine shows a golden hue with green reflections, hinting at both ripeness and freshness. The nose is generous and layered, with notes of ripe stone fruit, citrus, and a touch of tropical fruit, lifted by subtle spice and mineral nuances. The palate is rich and full-bodied, yet beautifully balanced by vibrant acidity and a distinctly mineral backbone. Fine spice, concentrated fruit, and a long, harmonious finish give the wine impressive presence, while its structure suggests excellent aging potential over the next several years.

Production
Maximum 2022 comes from old vines around Langenlois in Niederösterreich, where warm sunshine helps the grapes achieve full ripeness while the cooler climate preserves tension and minerality. The low-yielding parcels are harvested by hand, and the wine undergoes extended fermentation on the lees before maturing in large acacia casks, a method that enhances texture and complexity without overpowering the wine’s natural freshness.

Food & Serving
This is an excellent partner for roasted poultry, rich fish dishes, veal, and refined vegetarian plates with herbs or root vegetables. It also works beautifully with Asian-inspired cuisine and aged cheeses.
