Weingut Georg Breuer’s Berg Roseneck Riesling is a refined Rheingau site wine that shows the precision and freshness for which the estate is known. Sourced from a south-facing vineyard between Berg Schlossberg and Berg Rottland, it reflects both the character of the site and the careful hand of Theresa Breuer and her team.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a bright, expressive Riesling profile with notes of Mirabelle plum, ripe quince, grated apple, a hint of green plum and subtle beeswax. The palate is beautifully balanced, combining a gently sweet fruit core with lively acidity and a distinctly saline edge. Textured and focused, it has the depth to develop further with bottle age, gaining more complexity and mineral nuance over time.

Production
Berg Roseneck is a south-facing vineyard in the Rheingau with soils of stony clay interwoven with layers of slate and quartzite. The site benefits from excellent exposure, helping the Riesling grapes ripen fully even in challenging vintages. Careful work in both vineyard and cellar is key to the wine’s style, with selective harvesting and precise vinification preserving site character and freshness.

This Riesling pairs well with refined dishes such as roast poultry, pork, glazed seafood, creamy vegetable preparations, or lightly spicy Asian cuisine. Serve chilled, ideally around 8–10°C, and consider brief decanting if the wine is still youthful or tightly wound.
