Fresh and lifted, yet impressively layered, it captures the tension and finesse that have made coastal California Pinot Noir so sought after.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows the graceful color typical of Pinot Noir, with an inviting brightness and subtle depth. The nose opens with boysenberry, cherry, and a floral lift of rose petals, leading into a palate that is both seductive and precise, combining ripe fruit with a zesty thread of cranberry and lively coastal energy. The texture is rich and supple, but the finish stays energetic and finely balanced, giving the wine its signature West Sonoma Coast tension. It is already expressive now, yet has the depth and structure to continue evolving beautifully over the next several years.

Production
WF2 is made entirely from 100% estate fruit, harvested by hand to preserve quality and selection in the vineyard. The grapes are fully destemmed before pressing, and the wine matures for 10 months in French oak, including 30% new barrels, adding subtle spice and structure without overshadowing the fruit. The result is a polished Pinot Noir that reflects the cool, coastal terroir of West Sonoma Coast.

Food & Serving
This Pinot Noir pairs beautifully with roasted duck, herb-crusted chicken, mushroom dishes, grilled salmon, or earthy vegetable plates. Serve slightly chilled, ideally around 15-16°C, and consider a short decant of 20-30 minutes if opening young, as it will help the wine unfold in the glass.
