Tasting Notes

Production
La Belle Équipe is built from fruit sourced across the varied terroirs of Vinovalie’s three appellations: Gaillac, Fronton and Cahors. These different soils and microclimates allow each grape variety to contribute its own personality, from the power of Malbec to the aromatic lift of Négrette and the spicy backbone of Braucol and Syrah. The wine is produced as a multi-cépage blend, highlighting the identity of Southwest France rather than a single vineyard expression.

Food & Serving
A versatile red for the table, this wine pairs well with grilled meats, roast poultry, sausages, duck and flavourful Mediterranean dishes. It also works nicely with hard cheeses and rustic casseroles. Serve slightly cool, around 16–18°C, and decanting for about 30 minutes can help the aromas open up.
