Villa Conchi Cava Brut Selección NV is a fresh, elegant sparkling wine from the heart of Catalonia, produced from carefully selected vineyards between the Montserrat mountains. Its high-altitude Mediterranean vineyards bring bright acidity and freshness, while Chardonnay adds extra fruit and refined aromatic notes. With at least 12 months of bottle ageing, it offers an appealing balance of lively character and polished complexity.

Tasting Notes
Bright and pale in appearance, with a fine, persistent stream of bubbles. The nose is fresh and inviting, showing citrus, green apple and delicate floral aromas, complemented by subtle brioche notes from its time ageing on the bottle lees. On the palate, the wine is crisp and refreshing, with lively acidity, clean fruit and an elegant, dry finish. The Chardonnay contributes added roundness and finesse, while the high-altitude vineyards help preserve the wine’s vibrant character. It is best enjoyed young for its freshness, although its bottle ageing gives it enough structure to develop gracefully over the short term.

Production
The grapes come from carefully selected, high-elevation vineyards in the Catalan heartland, where cool nighttime temperatures help retain natural acidity in the Mediterranean climate. Harvesting takes place from late August through late October, with the grapes generally picked by hand and transported in 25–30 kg crates or small stainless-steel trailers when the vineyards are close to the winery. After vinification, the Cava undergoes at least 12 months of bottle ageing, developing greater texture and subtle complexity.

Food & Serving
A versatile aperitif, Villa Conchi Cava Brut Selección pairs beautifully with oysters, prawns, sushi, grilled fish and fresh seafood. Its bright acidity also works well with tapas, salads, soft cheeses and lightly spiced dishes. Serve well chilled at approximately 6–8°C. Decanting is not recommended; pour gently into flute or tulip-shaped sparkling wine glasses to preserve its lively bubbles and aromas.
