Tasting Notes
In the glass, this 2023 Toscana Rosso shows a deep ruby colour with youthful vibrancy. The nose opens with ripe red and dark berries, cherry, plum and a touch of spice, supported by subtle floral and herbal notes that add freshness and complexity. On the palate, it is medium- to full-bodied with supple tannins, juicy fruit and a balanced acidity that keeps the wine lively and versatile. The blend brings together Sangiovese’s brightness, Merlot’s roundness, Syrah’s spice and Petit Verdot’s structure, giving a layered and harmonious finish. It is enjoyable now for its freshness and fruit, but can also develop nicely over the next few years.

Production
Sourced from Tuscany, the wine reflects the region’s varied soils and Mediterranean climate, where warm days and cooling influences help preserve aromatic lift and natural freshness. The grapes are harvested when each variety reaches optimal ripeness, then vinified separately to preserve the individual character of the blend before being assembled into the final cuvée.

This is a versatile food wine that pairs beautifully with grilled meats, roasted poultry, pasta with rich tomato sauces, and Tuscan-inspired dishes such as steak, game or aged cheeses. Serve at around 16–18°C; decanting is optional but can help the wine open up if enjoyed soon after opening, especially in magnum format.
