Vignerons Ardéchois Ardèche Grès du Trias Viognier 2024 is a generous and refined white wine that highlights the aromatic character of Viognier. Made from low-yielding vines and carefully hand-harvested grapes, it combines ripe fruit, creamy texture and refreshing lift in a polished expression of the Ardèche.

Tasting Notes
The wine shows a beautiful golden-yellow colour with delicate silvery reflections. Its inviting nose offers ripe yellow fruit, with notes of apricot and peach complemented by a subtle hint of anise. On the palate, it is creamy, rounded and gently full-bodied, with a pleasing touch of richness balanced by freshness. The lees ageing contributes extra texture and depth. This is an appealing Viognier to enjoy in its youth, while its richness makes it well suited to the table.

Production
Produced in the Ardèche from Viognier, the wine comes from low-yielding vineyards where strict selection is applied. The grapes are harvested exclusively by hand during the coolest hours of the day, helping to preserve their freshness and aromatic definition. After vinification, the wine is aged on its lees, a process that enhances its body, creaminess and freshness.

Food & Serving
Its rounded texture and ripe fruit character pair beautifully with grilled or roasted fish, shellfish, poultry with a creamy sauce and mildly spiced dishes. It also works well with goat cheese or soft, lightly matured cheeses. Serve chilled at approximately 10–12°C. Decanting is not necessary, although a brief period in a carafe can allow the aromas to open further.
