Vigna 800 Valpolicella Ripasso Bio Classico Superiore 2019 is an organic Veneto red that brings together the depth of the Ripasso method with the freshness and finesse of Corvina. Made in the heart of Valpolicella Classica, it offers a more layered, polished style that reflects both tradition and a careful modern approach.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a deep ruby color with garnet reflections. The nose opens with ripe cherry, dried plum, sweet spice, and hints of cocoa and herbs, while the palate is smooth and well-structured, combining dark red fruit, gentle warmth, and a rounded, velvety finish. Ripasso adds extra texture and complexity, giving the wine more concentration than a classic Valpolicella while keeping its balance and drinkability. The 2019 vintage should continue to develop gracefully for several years, gaining more savory and balsamic nuances with time.

Production
Produced in Veneto’s Valpolicella Classica zone, this wine comes from an organic approach that emphasizes healthy vineyards and respectful farming. Corvina is the key grape, and the Ripasso technique is used to referment the wine on the skins left from Amarone production, which adds body, aroma, and depth before maturation.

Food & Serving
This wine pairs beautifully with roasted meats, game, mushroom risotto, grilled lamb, and aged hard cheeses. Serve at around 16–18°C, and decanting for 30–60 minutes is recommended to help the aromatics open up and soften the structure.
