The wine displays a deep ruby to garnet colour. Its bouquet is expected to reveal layers of ripe blackberry, black plum and raspberry, complemented by violets, graphite, subtle spice and refined earthy notes. On the palate, the 2022 vintage offers concentration and generous fruit, supported by polished but substantial tannins, fresh acidity and a long, mineral finish. This is a structured wine that will benefit from further bottle age. It may be enjoyed from around 2029, although its full complexity is likely to emerge after 15–20 years, with the potential to develop gracefully well beyond that in a suitable cellar.
