In the glass, this 2021 Großes Gewächs appears bright and luminous, with the kind of clarity and finesse that suggests real vineyard character. On the palate, it is full-bodied for the Mosel yet beautifully balanced, with layered fruit, vibrant acidity, and an elegant, long finish. Production
This wine comes from the Piesport Schubertslay vineyard in the Mosel-Saar-Ruwer region, a terroir known for steep slopes, slate soils, and exceptional drainage that help produce wines of tension and finesse. The grapes are selected from the best parcels and vinified with a focus on expressing purity, site character, and balance rather than heaviness.

Food & Serving
Ideal with refined dishes such as white fish, shellfish, and seafood, as well as poultry and other light meat dishes with delicate sauces. Serve chilled at around 8–10°C, and decanting is generally not necessary, though a short airing can help the wine open up in its youth.
