Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a luminous golden-yellow color that hints at its ripeness and depth. The bouquet is intense and inviting, with layered aromas of ripe peach, apricot, and honey, lifted by the fresh, floral elegance that makes Riesling so distinctive. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and fruit-driven, with a luxurious sweetness beautifully balanced by vibrant acidity. Production
The Altenberg vineyard offers steep, mineral-rich slopes in the Mosel region, where the cool climate and exposed site help preserve acidity while allowing the grapes to achieve exceptional ripeness. The grapes are carefully hand-selected at harvest to ensure only the best berries are used for this Beerenauslese. Vinification is carried out with a focus on preserving the wine’s purity, aromatic intensity, and natural balance.

Food & Serving
This wine is a natural match for fruit-based desserts, crème brûlée, blue cheese, or refined pastry dishes, and it also works beautifully on its own as a contemplative after-dinner wine. Serve well chilled, ideally around 8–10°C, and there is generally no need to decant unless you wish to let its aromas open gradually in the glass.
