Tasting Notes
Pale, lively yellow in the glass, this Riesling opens with a generous aromatic profile of ripe fruit, grapefruit, pineapple, and orange peel. The nose is expressive yet refined, hinting at both freshness and concentration. On the palate, it is dry and focused, showing citrus-driven fruit with a subtle saline edge that adds lift and complexity. Fresh acidity carries the wine through a long, elegant finish, and its structure suggests excellent ageing potential for those who enjoy Riesling with depth and energy.

Production
The wine is made entirely from hand-picked Riesling grapes sourced from old vines in carefully selected top terroirs, where steep, mineral-rich slate, sandstone, and rhyolite soils shape the wine’s character. Harvest takes place late in the season, with pickings often spread across the end of October and into November to achieve ideal ripeness. After harvest, the grapes undergo maceration and fermentation in stainless steel, followed by 6 to 7 months of maturation before bottling without fining, allowing the wine to retain its purity and site expression.

Food & Serving
An excellent choice as an aperitif, this Riesling pairs beautifully with non-smoked fish, shellfish, caviar, lighter meat dishes, and poultry. It also works well with Eastern-spiced cuisine and goat’s cheese. Serve well chilled, ideally around 8–10°C, and decanting is generally not necessary.
