Production
Valenciso is based in Ollauri, just outside Haro in the heart of Rioja Alta, an area prized for its cooler climate and ability to produce elegant, aromatic Tempranillo. The winery integrates organic and biodynamic practices in the vineyard, uses concrete vats for fermentation, and ages the wine exclusively in eastern European oak barrels, all of which support a more nuanced and expressive style.
