Vajra’s Langhe Nebbiolo is a beautifully pure expression of one of Piedmont’s most celebrated grapes. Made from 100% Nebbiolo, it captures the variety’s elegance and energy in a fresh, approachable style, while still showing the character and pedigree that have made Nebbiolo one of Italy’s most historic red grapes.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, this wine is bright and inviting, with the vibrant ruby tones you expect from a youthful Nebbiolo. The nose is lifted and aromatic, opening with raspberry, red cherry and stone fruit, followed by nuances of Ramassin plum and delicate floral notes. The palate is generous yet precise, with lively freshness and a core of raspberry and mountain strawberry framed by fine, elegant tannins. It finishes with a delicious, energetic lift that makes it immediately enjoyable now, while still offering a few years of graceful development.

Sourced from Langhe in Piedmont, this Nebbiolo reflects the region’s cool-climate terroir, where altitude and temperature shifts help preserve freshness and aromatic clarity. Vajra works with a careful approach to farming and vinification to showcase purity of fruit and the natural finesse of the grape, resulting in a wine that feels both authentic and precise.

Food & Serving
A versatile food wine, this Langhe Nebbiolo is excellent with risotto, mushroom dishes, roasted poultry, veal, pork, and lighter braised meats. It also works beautifully with aged cheeses and classic Piedmontese dishes. Serve at 16–18°C; decanting for 20–30 minutes can help open the aromas, especially in its youth.
