Grapes are harvested by hand at optimal ripeness, sorted with meticulous care to ensure only pristine fruit makes it into the final blend. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled vessels to preserve aromatic purity, followed by extended maceration to extract fine tannins and depth of color. The wine is then aged in high-quality oak barrels, a judicious portion of which are new, lending subtle notes of cedar, mocha and spice without overshadowing the fruit. Finally, it is bottled in imperial format to encourage slow, graceful maturation.
