Tramin Pinot Bianco is a stylish Alto Adige white that captures the purity and elegance of Pinot Blanc in one refined bottle. Fresh, precise, and beautifully balanced, it offers both a sense of texture and a bright line of acidity, reflecting the cool Alpine character of northern Italy. Cantina Tramin, founded in 1898, is one of the region’s most respected names, especially known for its expertise with Gewürztraminer and Pinot Bianco.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a greenish-yellow to pale yellow hue, hinting at its fresh and delicate style. The nose is clean and expressive, with notes of hazelnut and green foliage alongside subtle floral and mineral tones. On the palate, the wine is elegant and well-structured, combining gentle richness with vibrant acidity. It feels smooth and precise rather than heavy, with a crisp finish that makes it highly versatile at the table. Best enjoyed young for its freshness, though its balance gives it a little room to develop gracefully over the short term.

Production
Made from 100% Pinot Bianco grown on limestone soils mixed with clay and gravel, the wine benefits from the mineral tension and freshness typical of Alto Adige. After harvest, the grapes are transferred to small tanks in the cellar for immediate, gentle pressing. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel at a controlled 19°C, with no malolactic fermentation, followed by aging in small steel tanks to preserve clarity, freshness, and varietal character.

Food & Serving
This Pinot Bianco pairs beautifully with seafood, grilled fish, light pasta dishes, risotto, and poultry, as well as fresh salads and mild cheeses. Serve chilled at around 8–10°C to highlight its freshness and finesse. Decanting is not necessary; a simple opening before serving is enough.
