Tormaresca Furia di Calafuria is a stylish Salento rosato that captures the sun-soaked character of Puglia in a fresh, aromatic expression. Made from Negroamaro and shaped by the Antinori family’s longstanding passion for the region, it combines elegance, brightness, and a distinctly southern Italian sense of place.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a delicate peach-blossom pink hue. The nose is lifted and inviting, with notes of peach, pink grapefruit, and pomegranate, layered with subtle floral accents of wisteria. The palate is soft and balanced, marked by refreshing acidity, a pleasing aromatic persistence, and a delicate juiciness that makes it especially easy to enjoy. Best appreciated young while its vibrant fruit and floral charm are at their most expressive.

Production
This rosato is made from hand-harvested Negroamaro grapes grown in the Salento area of Puglia. After destemming and gentle pressing, the must is transferred to stainless steel tanks at 12°C for natural clarification, followed by alcoholic fermentation at a controlled 16°C to preserve the wine’s aromatic intensity. The wine spends a short period on its lees in stainless steel before bottling, helping to add subtle texture while maintaining freshness and purity of fruit.

Food & Serving
A versatile rosé for Mediterranean cooking, it pairs well with seafood, grilled fish, light pasta dishes, salads, shellfish, and soft cheeses. Serve chilled at around 8–10°C; decanting is not necessary.
