Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a bright light straw color with green reflections, giving an immediate impression of freshness and energy. The nose bursts with passion fruit, guava, and grapefruit, followed by lime zest, white flowers, and a subtle edge of wild herbs and nettle. The palate is tight, lively, and driven by crisp acidity that carries the tropical fruit beautifully. Citrus, melon, and exotic fruit unfold alongside a discreet mineral note and a subtle textured feel from lees contact. A touch of wild fermentation adds complexity and length, while the finish is long, fresh, and mineral. This Sauvignon Blanc comes from the Oddstone vineyard in Marlborough, where cool nights help preserve aromatic intensity and natural freshness, while the alluvial soils contribute to the wine’s bright acid line and precision. A small proportion of wild fermentation, along with aging on fine lees, adds depth, texture, and a more layered expression than the classic exuberant style.

Food & Serving
Ideal with shellfish, seafood platters, ceviche, goat cheese, and light fish dishes. Serve well chilled at around 8–10°C to emphasize its citrus clarity and aromatics. Decanting is not necessary, though a few minutes in the glass will help the wine open fully.
