Tasting Notes
Bright and elegant in the glass, the wine opens with expressive aromas of white flowers, citrus, green apple and ripe pear, complemented by subtle hints of hazelnut and wet limestone. On the palate, it is precise and energetic, with a creamy texture balanced by lively acidity and a distinctly mineral finish. The combination of ripe Chardonnay fruit, freshness and understated complexity gives the wine both immediate appeal and depth. It is best enjoyed young for its vibrant fruit and purity, though its structure should allow it to develop additional texture and nuance over the next few years.

Production
The Chardonnay comes from limestone-rich vineyards in the Mâconnais, where the warmer climate encourages ripe, generous fruit while the calcareous soils preserve freshness and mineral character. Following Théo Dancer’s low-intervention philosophy, the grapes are handled gently and undergo natural fermentation with minimal interference, allowing the vineyard and vintage to express themselves clearly.

Serve Roc Breïa Mâcon-Villages lightly chilled at around 10–12°C. Its freshness and creamy texture make it an excellent partner for fish, shellfish, grilled or roasted poultry, and classic dishes featuring white meat. Decanting is not necessary, although a short period of aeration in the glass can help reveal its floral and mineral nuances.
