Terrazas de los Andes Chardonnay Reserva 2025 is a beautifully expressive high-altitude Chardonnay from Mendoza, shaped by the cool climate of Gualtallary and El Peral in the Uco Valley. Grown in vineyards reaching up to around 1,300 meters above sea level, it combines freshness, minerality, and aromatic depth in a style that feels both modern and refined.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a straw-yellow color and a vibrant bouquet of yellow peach, pear, grapefruit, and candied citrus peel, lifted by a delicate hint of white honey. The palate is generous and harmonious, with juicy fruit, bright acidity, and a distinct mineral edge that gives the wine energy and precision. A subtle layer of brioche and elegant oak frames the long finish without overpowering the fruit. While it is already enjoyable for its fresh, expressive style, this Chardonnay has the structure to develop added complexity over the next 5-10 years.

Production
The grapes come from Terrazas de los Andes’ own vineyards in Gualtallary and El Peral, two of the most highly regarded sites in Mendoza’s Uco Valley. These high-altitude vineyards benefit from intense mountain sunlight and cool nights, creating ideal conditions for Chardonnay with concentrated aromatics, crisp acidity, and a strong mineral signature. Careful vinification is used to preserve freshness while adding texture and subtle oak complexity.

Food & Serving
This Chardonnay pairs beautifully with grilled or roasted fish, lobster, scallops, creamy poultry dishes, and refined vegetable cuisine such as risotto or asparagus tart. Serve it chilled at around 10-12°C, and decanting is not necessary, although a short time in the glass will help reveal its layered aromas.
