Tasting Notes
In the glass, this Brunello typically shows a deep ruby hue with garnet reflections, hinting at both freshness and depth. The nose is expressive and layered, with red cherry, wild berry, dried rose, and a touch of spice, followed by subtle earthy notes, leather, and a refined mineral edge. On the palate, it is poised and structured, with vivid acidity, fine-grained tannins, and flavors of sour cherry, plum, tobacco, herbs, and cedar. The finish is long and graceful, with the concentration to develop beautifully over time. While already appealing in youth with proper aeration, it has excellent aging potential and should evolve gracefully for many years.

Production
Terralsole is located in Montalcino, where the combination of altitude, sun exposure, and well-drained Tuscan soils provides ideal conditions for Sangiovese. The estate follows sustainable vineyard practices, using organic fertilizer and cover crops to support soil health and preserve the character of the land. For this wine, the fruit is carefully harvested and vinified with an emphasis on purity, balance, and the traditional structure expected of Brunello di Montalcino.

This wine is a natural match for Tuscan dishes such as bistecca alla Fiorentina, wild boar ragù, braised beef, roasted lamb, and mushroom risotto. It also pairs well with aged cheeses and truffle-based dishes. Serve at 16–18°C, and decant for at least one hour to allow the aromas and structure to fully open.

Over more than 20 years, Terralsole has earned recognition for producing award-winning Brunello di Montalcino, and since 2018 the estate has been fully certified organic.
