Teófilo Reyes Sierra Ibérica 2025 is a fruit-forward red from Ribera del Duero, a region renowned for structured, expressive wines from Castilla y León. Made from grapes grown on calcareous soils and matured in French oak, it combines ripe berry character with gentle toast and well-integrated structure.

Tasting Notes
The wine shows a bright ruby-red colour in the glass. Its bouquet opens with aromas of ripe red fruit, complemented by toasted oak and subtle woody notes. On the palate, it is juicy and fruit-driven, with mature tannins, balanced oak influence and a lingering finish. Enjoyable in its youth for its generous fruit profile, the wine should also develop additional softness and integration over the next few years when stored in suitable cellar conditions.

Production
Bodegas Teófilo Reyes works with its own vineyards in Ribera del Duero, where calcareous soils contribute freshness and structure to the wines. The grapes are fermented in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks before the wine is aged for approximately 12 months in French oak, allowing the fruit, tannins and oak character to come into balance.

Food & Serving
A natural partner for grilled or roasted red meats, this Ribera del Duero also works well with lamb dishes and hearty stews featuring warming spices. Serve slightly below room temperature, around 16–18°C. Decanting is not essential for immediate enjoyment, but a brief 20–30 minute decant can help open the aromas and soften the palate.
