Made from 100% Grillo, it offers a distinctive balance of freshness, texture, and mineral drive, with a style that speaks clearly of its Sicilian origin. Tenute Orestiadi, founded in 2008 in Gibellina in the Belice Valley, also brings a cultural and artistic dimension to the label, rooted in one of Sicily’s most evocative wine areas.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a straw-yellow color with green reflections, suggesting vibrancy and youthful energy. The nose is expressive and layered, with fresh fruit, hay, green tea, and floral orange blossom notes, alongside hints reminiscent of Mediterranean scrubland. On the palate, it is full-flavoured yet lively, combining freshness with good balance and a subtle savory edge. Notes of crusty bread lead into a clean, mineral finish. Enjoy it for its brightness now, though its structure and balance should allow it to develop well over the short to medium term.

Production
Produced in Sicily’s Belice Valley, the wine reflects a terroir shaped by Mediterranean warmth, aromatic vegetation, and mineral-rich soils that lend Grillo its distinctive personality. The grapes are vinified to preserve the variety’s natural perfume and freshness, with a focus on expressing purity of fruit, texture, and the grape’s hallmark saline-mineral character.

This Grillo is a versatile partner for seafood, grilled fish, shellfish, light pasta dishes, and Mediterranean appetizers, especially those with herbs, citrus, or olive oil. Serve chilled, ideally around 8–10°C, and decanting is not necessary.
