Tenute Lunelli Toscana Teuto 2018 is a refined Tuscan red from the Lunelli family, best known for its prestigious Ferrari Trento sparkling wines. A blend of Sangiovese, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, it combines the structure and freshness of Tuscany with polished oak integration, elegant tannins and a long, subtly spicy finish.

Tasting Notes
The wine shows a clear, deep ruby-red colour. Its expressive nose offers precise aromas of dark red fruit, complemented by inviting notes of coffee beans. On the palate, Teuto is beautifully balanced, with fine, elegant tannins and a smooth, well-defined texture. Dark red fruit returns on the long finish, joined by a gentle spiciness. Its structure and balance allow it to be enjoyed now, while also giving it the potential to develop further over the next several years when properly stored.

Production
Produced in Tuscany from Sangiovese, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, Teuto reflects the Lunelli family’s commitment to expressing distinctive Italian terroirs. The wine is aged for 18 months: Sangiovese matures in large oak casks, while Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon are aged in barriques. This combination preserves the wine’s fruit character while adding complexity and carefully integrated coffee and spice notes.

Food & Serving
Serve at approximately 16–18°C, ideally after allowing the bottle to come gently up to temperature. Teuto pairs well with Tuscan-style dishes, grilled or roasted red meats, braised beef, game and mature hard cheeses. Decanting for around 30–60 minutes is recommended, particularly when serving the wine young, to soften the tannins and allow its aromas to open.
