With its deep ruby colour, refined structure and expressive combination of black fruit, cocoa and Mediterranean herbs, it offers a polished interpretation of Tuscany with excellent cellaring potential.

Tasting Notes
The wine presents a deep yet clear ruby-red colour. Its aromatic profile opens with notes of cocoa powder and blackcurrant jam, followed by hints of rosemary and balsamic nuance that add freshness and complexity. On the palate, Auritea is firm but elegant, combining concentrated dark-fruit flavours with a structured, well-defined texture. The balanced tannic frame and oak maturation suggest that the wine can be enjoyed now with decanting, while further bottle ageing should allow its fruit, savoury character and balsamic notes to develop greater harmony over the coming years.

Production
Produced in Tuscany by Tenute Lunelli, Auritea reflects the family’s focus on expressive, long-lived still wines from Italy’s leading terroirs. The wine is matured for 18 months in French oak barriques, followed by at least 12 months of bottle ageing before release. Details of the grape composition and specific harvesting methods are not provided.

Food & Serving
A natural match for grilled or roasted red meats, beef tenderloin, Tuscan-style stews and rich pasta dishes with ragù. It also works well with aged cheeses and preparations featuring rosemary or balsamic accents. Serve at approximately 16–18°C. Decant for 30–60 minutes before serving, particularly when opening the bottle young, to allow the structure and aromas to open fully.
