Tasting Notes
In the glass, Guidalberto 2023 shows a deep ruby colour with a vibrant, youthful core. The nose opens with dark cherries, ripe blackberries, and plums, lifted by subtle layers of spice, cedar, and a touch of tobacco. On the palate, the wine is fresh and precise, with silky tannins, fine mineral tension, and a well-balanced finish. It offers both seriousness and immediate charm, and while it is already highly enjoyable now, it should continue to develop gracefully over the next 5–8 years.

Produced in Bolgheri, Tuscany, Guidalberto benefits from the coastal influence and well-drained soils that give the region its signature freshness and structure. A portion of the fruit comes from declassified Sassicaia parcels, contributing to the wine’s clear connection to the estate’s flagship style. Vinification focuses on preserving purity, balance, and aromatic finesse, resulting in a wine that is expressive, composed, and distinctly Tuscan.

Guidalberto 2023 pairs beautifully with roasted lamb, beef tenderloin, grilled steak, game birds, and rich mushroom dishes. It is best served at 16–18°C, and decanting for about 30–60 minutes is recommended if opening young, to allow the aromatics and structure to open fully.
