Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a deep amber-golden color that hints at its cask finish. The nose opens with warm grain, gentle spice, and a subtle herbal sweetness, while the palate delivers a full-bodied blend of fresh-harvest grain, rye spice, and notes of bittersweet herbs and dried fruit. The finish is smooth, warming, and slightly bitter, with a lingering sweet-herbal echo that makes it especially compelling. It is best enjoyed now for its vibrant character, though it will continue to hold well in bottle.

The whisky is first matured and then finished in vermouth barrels, a choice inspired by the classic Manhattan cocktail and designed to bring out the harmony between rye and sweet vermouth. This cask treatment adds depth, herbal nuance, and a distinctive bittersweet edge to the final spirit.
