Santadi Noras is a characterful Cannonau di Sardegna from the heart of Sulcis, offering a distinctly Sardinian expression with warmth, depth, and Mediterranean personality. Made from 90% Cannonau and 10% Carignano, it combines ripe fruit, spice, and structure in a wine that reflects both the island’s terroir and Santadi’s long-standing winemaking tradition.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, Noras shows an intense ruby-red color that signals its concentration and ripeness. The nose is layered and expressive, with Mediterranean herbs, blueberries, ripe blackberries, sweet spice, tobacco, and a touch of chocolate. On the palate, it is warm, full-bodied, and generously textured, with sweet tannins of impressive intensity. The finish is rich and persistent, and while it is enjoyable now, it also has the structure to develop gracefully over the next few years.

Production
Noras is produced in Sulcis, one of Sardinia’s most distinctive wine-growing areas, where the climate and soils help bring out the full personality of Cannonau and Carignano. The blend of 90% Cannonau and 10% Carignano is crafted to balance ripeness, spice, and depth, resulting in a wine that feels both authentic and refined.

Food & Serving
This is an excellent match for grilled lamb, roasted meats, rich game dishes, and hearty Mediterranean cuisine such as aubergine-based dishes or slow-cooked stews. Serve at around 16–18°C, and decanting for 30–60 minutes is recommended to allow the aromas and tannins to open fully.
