Tasting Notes
Deep and intense in the glass, this Riserva is built for those who enjoy layered, confident reds. The nose leans into dark fruit, warm spice, and subtle oak notes, while the palate is full-bodied and well balanced, with silky tannins and a long, lingering finish. Its combination of fruit concentration and structure suggests good aging potential, allowing the wine to gain even more complexity over time.

Production
The grapes come from Cagnulari vineyards in the Alghero area of Sardegna, where the variety finds a distinctive local expression. Harvesting takes place by hand in the final week of September, ensuring only fully ripe fruit is selected. After fermentation and extended skin maceration, the wine is matured in French oak barriques from the Allier forests, a vinification approach that adds spice, texture, and finesse to the final blend.

Food & Serving
This is an excellent match for roasted lamb, grilled beef, game, and rich Mediterranean dishes such as wild boar ragù or aubergine-based recipes. Serve slightly below room temperature, around 16–18°C, and consider decanting for 30–60 minutes to let the aromas and tannins open up fully.
