Tasting Notes
In the glass, it offers a bright, inviting profile with a creamy yet refined feel. Production
San Marzano is based in Puglia, in the heart of the renowned DOC Primitivo di Manduria, where vineyards and olive trees grow side by side on reddish soils between the Ionian and Adriatic seas. The vineyard sites sit around 100 meters above sea level on clay-rich soils with an average depth of about one meter, shaped by a demanding Mediterranean climate with drought, frost, and the Sirocco wind. These conditions help produce wines with concentration, elegance, and a strong sense of place.

Food & Serving
This style of white wine works well with seafood, grilled fish, creamy pasta dishes, shellfish, risotto, and mild poultry dishes. Serve chilled at around 8–10°C to best highlight its freshness and aromatic detail; decanting is not necessary.

Cantine San Marzano was founded in 1962, when 19 growers joined forces to create a cooperative dedicated to preserving and elevating the winemaking traditions of Puglia. Today, the cooperative includes more than 1,200 growers and combines modern, technologically advanced facilities with deep respect for the region’s heritage. It has become one of the most significant producers in southern Italy, known for wines that deliver richness, balance, and authenticity.
