Tasting Notes
In the glass, this Riserva shows a mature, deep ruby-garnet colour that hints at its age and complexity. The nose opens with layers of ripe red fruit, spice, leather, and subtle oak, developing further with earthy, savoury notes as it breathes. On the palate it is full-bodied and richly textured, with balanced acidity and well-integrated tannins supporting flavours of dried cherry, plum, warm spice, and tobacco. The finish is long and persistent, with enough structure to have rewarded extended cellaring; at this stage, it is best enjoyed now as a mature wine at full expression.

Production
Produced in the hills of Chianti Classico in Tuscany, this wine draws its character from one of Italy’s most celebrated terroirs, where Sangiovese thrives in sunlit slopes and well-drained soils. The grapes are selected from the best parcels and vinified traditionally before the wine spends at least 24 months ageing in oak barrels, adding complexity, structure, and a refined savoury edge.
