Description

Saint Colias Pays Chardonnay Cuvée Réserve 2025 is a full-bodied, powerful white wine from the Languedoc, shaped by ripe fruit and six months of maturation in oak. Its combination of exotic fruit, vanilla and white flowers gives it a generous, polished character, while a subtle touch of wood adds depth and structure.

Tasting Notes
The wine pours a bright, golden hue. On the nose, it offers expressive aromas of exotic fruit and peach, complemented by delicate white flowers and creamy vanilla from its time in oak. The palate is rich and rounded, with pronounced peach and ripe-fruit flavours balanced by vanilla and a subtle hint of toasted wood. It is approachable in its youth and best enjoyed over the next few years while its fresh fruit and oak character remain in harmony.

Production
The grapes come from vineyards located around Narbonne in the Languedoc, where the warm Mediterranean climate helps develop generous fruit expression. Saint Colias uses modern winemaking equipment, and the wine is matured for six months in wooden barrels, allowing the Chardonnay to gain creaminess, vanilla notes and additional depth. Specific harvesting methods and detailed vinification techniques have not been provided.

Food & Serving
A natural match for roasted or grilled poultry, creamy pasta, seafood in rich sauces and dishes featuring roast vegetables. It also pairs well with mildly flavoured soft cheeses. Serve lightly chilled at around 10–12°C; decanting is not necessary, although serving it in a broad white-wine glass and allowing it a few minutes to open can reveal more of its oak and floral character.

Producer
Saint Colias wines originate in the Languedoc and are produced as part of Les Vignerons de Narbonnais, a wine organisation based around the city of Narbonne. The vineyards are situated in the surrounding area, and the winery’s modern facilities support the production of consistent, expressive wines. No specific founding date or notable awards have been provided.
