Description

Ruinart Rosé is a beautifully balanced Champagne that captures the house’s signature elegance in a vibrant, expressive style. As the first established Champagne house, Ruinart brings centuries of expertise to this refined rosé, known for its delicate structure, freshness, and unmistakable finesse.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a luminous pale salmon-pink color with fine, persistent bubbles. The nose is fresh and generous, offering notes of red berries, citrus zest, and subtle floral tones, with a gentle hint of spice and brioche in the background. On the palate, Ruinart Rosé is silky and lively, combining crisp red fruit with bright acidity and a smooth, rounded texture. It finishes long and graceful, making it appealing both as an aperitif and at the table. While approachable now, it also has the structure to evolve nicely over the next few years.

Production
Ruinart sources grapes from carefully selected vineyards across Champagne, with a focus on chalk-rich soils that contribute freshness, precision, and mineral lift. The style typically reflects a careful blend designed to preserve aromatic purity and elegant texture, with vinification aimed at highlighting fruit expression and finesse.

Food & Serving
This Champagne pairs beautifully with tuna tartare, salmon, roasted duck, sushi, and dishes featuring red berries or subtle spice. Serve well chilled at around 8–10°C, and decanting is not recommended; instead, open shortly before serving to preserve its fine mousse and aromatic brightness.

Producer
Founded in 1729, Ruinart is widely regarded as the oldest established Champagne house. Based in Reims, it has built a lasting reputation for refined, chardonnay-driven wines and a timeless house style that has made it one of the most respected names in Champagne.
