The younger Oakville blocks contribute herbal, floral lift, while the older vines bring more layered texture and roundness. Production
This estate wine is sourced exclusively from carefully selected blocks in Robert Mondavi Winery’s Oakville vineyard, where the contrast between younger and older parcels creates a layered expression of Sauvignon Blanc with a small addition of Sémillon. The younger vines bring aromatic freshness and floral notes, while the older vines contribute depth, honeyed complexity, and a richer mouthfeel. After harvest, the wine was aged for 9 months in small French oak barrels, 35% of them new, which adds subtle spice, structure, and creamy texture without overwhelming the fruit.

Food & Serving
Serve chilled at around 8–10°C. It works beautifully with baked white fish, shellfish, roast chicken with herbs, or creamy vegetable dishes, and it can also be enjoyed on its own as a refined aperitif. Decanting is not necessary, though a short period in the glass will help the aromas open up.
