Tasting Notes
In the glass, this Chardonnay offers a bright, polished appearance with a rich golden sheen that hints at its time in oak. The nose is layered and inviting, with notes of ripe stone fruit, citrus peel, subtle vanilla, toasted almond, and a delicate mineral edge. On the palate, it is structured yet graceful, combining creamy texture with fresh acidity and a long, well-composed finish. The oak influence is present but well integrated, supporting the wine rather than overpowering it. With its balance of fruit, texture, and freshness, it should age well for several years, gaining additional complexity and nuance over time.

Production
Lama dei Corvi comes from a single vineyard in DOCG Castel del Monte, in northern Apulia, an area shaped by cooling hills and the influence of the Adriatic Sea. The grapes are harvested by hand, ensuring careful selection of the fruit before vinification. After fermentation in oak barrels, the wine matures for 9 months in barrel and a further 6 months in bottle, giving it added depth, structure, and refinement.

Food & Serving
This Chardonnay works beautifully with roasted poultry, creamy risottos, grilled seafood, lobster, and richer Mediterranean dishes. Serve it slightly chilled, around 10–12°C, to show its freshness and texture at their best. Decanting is not necessary, but a little time in the glass will help the aromas open up.
