Rivera, Fedora Castel del Monte 2024 White

Rivera Fedora Castel del Monte 2024 is a fresh, elegant white wine from one of Apulia’s most respected producers. Made primarily from the local varieties Pampanuto and Bombino Bianco, with a small addition of Chardonnay, it offers a distinctive taste of Castel del Monte while remaining bright, approachable and highly drinkable. The wine comes from a historic DOCG area that has held its status since 2001.

Tasting Notes
Fedora has a bright, pale appearance and a fresh, inviting nose marked by crisp orchard fruit, citrus and delicate floral notes. On the palate, it is light and refreshing yet pleasantly rounded, with ripe fruit, lively acidity and a clean, mineral-tinged finish. Its stainless-steel maturation preserves the wine’s freshness and expressive fruit character. Best enjoyed young, ideally within the first two to three years of the vintage, while its energy and vibrancy are at their peak.

Production
The grapes are sourced from Castel del Monte in northern Apulia, where hillside vineyards benefit from cooling breezes and the moderating influence of the nearby Adriatic Sea. Rivera combines the regional white varieties Pampanuto and Bombino Bianco with a small proportion of Chardonnay. The wine is vinified and matured exclusively in stainless-steel tanks, a method that protects its delicate aromas and maintains its crisp, fruit-driven style.

Food & Serving
Serve Rivera Fedora well chilled at approximately 8–10°C. Its freshness makes it a natural partner for seafood, shellfish, grilled fish, fresh salads and light pasta dishes, while its rounded fruit also works well with antipasti, soft cheeses and simple Mediterranean cuisine. Decanting is not necessary; open shortly before serving to allow the aromas to emerge.
