Tasting Notes
Deep, concentrated ruby in the glass, with a classic Cabernet profile that combines blackcurrant, dark cherry and plum with layers of cedar, tobacco, graphite and subtle spice. The mountain origins of the wine give it a refined lift and a cooler, more mineral edge than many Napa Valley counterparts. On the palate, it is full-bodied and tightly composed, with firm but polished tannins, bright acidity and impressive concentration. The Cabernet Sauvignon brings backbone and length, while Cabernet Franc and Merlot add aromatic complexity and roundness. This is a wine built for the long haul and should age gracefully for 15–25 years, developing even greater nuance over time.
