Raimbault Noël et Jean-Luc Sancerre Silex 2025 is a red Sancerre distinguished by the mineral character of silex-rich soils. This elegant Loire Valley style combines the freshness associated with Sancerre with the structure and savoury detail expected from a wine shaped by flint terroir.

Tasting Notes
The wine is expected to show a bright ruby colour, with a fresh, expressive nose marked by red berries, subtle floral notes and a refined mineral edge. On the palate, look for lively acidity, delicate tannins and flavours of redcurrant, raspberry and cherry, with a clean, lightly smoky finish characteristic of flint-influenced sites. As a young 2025 vintage, it is best enjoyed for its freshness and clarity, though careful cellaring may allow additional savoury and earthy complexity to develop over the next few years.

Food & Serving
Serve slightly chilled, at approximately 14–16°C. It pairs particularly well with roast poultry, grilled salmon, charcuterie, mushroom dishes and soft cheeses. Decanting is not essential when served young, although a brief 20–30 minute decant can help open the wine and reveal more of its aromatic detail.
