Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a deep, dark ruby core with a refined, youthful sheen. The bouquet is layered and expressive, opening with blackcurrant, blackberry, and black cherry before unfolding into violet, graphite, dark chocolate, tobacco, and a subtle lift of anise and spice. The palate is powerful yet harmonious, with a silky texture and beautifully integrated tannins. Ripe dark fruit is supported by vibrant acidity, cocoa, black pepper, and a fine mineral edge, while the oak adds discreet notes of cedar and spice. The finish is long, elegant, and persistent, with lingering impressions of cassis, tobacco, mint, and polished spice. It already drinks well, but it has the structure to evolve gracefully over the next few years.
