Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a deep ruby color with a subtle brick-toned rim, hinting at its time in bottle. The nose is layered and refined, unfolding with ripe red berries, warm spice, vanilla, tobacco, and a touch of leather. The palate is balanced and expressive, with supple red fruit, spice, and a delicate mocha note adding complexity. Its tannins are smooth and well integrated, and the finish is long, harmonious, and elegant. While already highly enjoyable, it still has the structure and balance to develop gracefully over further years of cellaring.

Production
Viña Bosconia Reserva 2013 comes from Rioja, where López de Heredia is known for its faithful commitment to traditional winemaking. The wine is made from Tempranillo, Garnacha, and Mazuelo (Carignan), with long aging in American oak barrels for around five years, followed by additional bottle maturation to build complexity and polish the tannins.

Food & Serving
This is an excellent match for grilled meats, lamb, game, and mature cheeses, where its savory depth and refined oak tones can shine. Serve at 16–18°C, and decanting is recommended if you want to let the wine fully open and reveal its aromatic complexity.
