Tasting Notes
In the glass, expect a pale straw color with bright green reflections. The nose is clean and expressive, offering citrus, white flowers, crushed stone, and the subtle smoky edge that gives Pouilly-Fumé its name. The palate is crisp and focused, with lively acidity, notes of lemon, lime, green apple, and a distinct mineral backbone. It finishes long and dry, with enough structure to develop gracefully over the next few years, though it is also highly enjoyable युवा while its freshness is at its peak.

Production
Pouilly-Fumé comes from vineyards in the eastern Loire, where chalk, limestone, and flint-rich soils help shape its taut, mineral profile. Sauvignon Blanc grapes are typically harvested at optimal ripeness and vinified with a cool, careful approach to preserve aromatic purity and freshness.

Food & Serving
An excellent match for goat’s cheese, seafood, oysters, grilled fish, asparagus, and light poultry dishes. Serve chilled at around 8–10°C, and decanting is not usually necessary.
