This terroir combines warm Tuscan sunshine with cooling breezes, helping the grapes achieve full phenolic ripeness while retaining freshness and aromatic lift. Harvest is typically carried out by hand, allowing for strict selection of only the best bunches. In the cellar, the grapes are gently crushed and undergo a temperature-controlled fermentation to preserve purity of fruit and aromatic definition. The wine is then matured in large oak casks and/or neutral barrels for several years, in line with Brunello di Montalcino regulations, allowing the tannins to soften and the distinctive teakwood, spice, and dried-fruit notes to emerge without overpowering the Sangiovese character.
