The wine displays a bright, inviting appearance. On the nose, it offers intense aromas of ripe pear, passion fruit and mandarin, creating an appealing balance between soft fruit and vibrant citrus character. The palate is pleasantly refreshing, with generous fruit flavours and a clean, easy-drinking finish. This is a wine best enjoyed for its youthful freshness and aromatic expression. Its stainless-steel maturation preserves the lively fruit profile, making it ideal for drinking soon after release rather than extended cellaring.

Production
Produced in Salento, Poggio del Sole’s wines are designed to express the character of their terroir in a stylish, approachable form. The grapes undergo 24 hours of skin maceration before alcoholic fermentation at a controlled temperature of 12–14°C. The wine then matures in stainless-steel tanks until bottling, helping retain its freshness, aromatic intensity and clean fruit character.

Food & Serving
A versatile choice for many light dishes, this Salento Bianco pairs well with appetisers, soups, pasta with delicate sauces and fresh cheeses. Serve chilled at approximately 8–10°C to highlight its freshness and fragrant fruit. Decanting is not necessary; simply open shortly before serving.
