Plaimont’s Le Faîte Saint-Mont Blanc 2022 is a flagship white wine from one of southwest France’s most distinctive historic appellations. Crafted each year by a selection of leading figures from the wine and gastronomy world, it blends Gros Manseng, Petit Manseng, Petit Corbu, and Arrufiac into a wine that is both characterful and refined.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a velvety golden hue that immediately suggests richness and depth. The nose is generous and expressive, opening with exotic fruit notes of citrus, ripe grapefruit, and lychee, lifted by subtle oak-derived nuances of hazelnut and vanilla. On the palate, it is broad, generous, and fruit-driven, with a creamy texture, a touch of minerality, and a long, satisfying finish. The balance of ripe fruit, oak, and freshness gives it excellent presence now, while also allowing for a few years of graceful aging.

Le Faîte Saint-Mont Blanc is sourced from the Saint-Mont area in southwest France, where the vineyards benefit from a terroir well suited to local white grape varieties. The wine is assembled annually from carefully selected lots, bringing together the region’s traditional grapes and a style that reflects both place and craftsmanship. Vinification includes oak influence, which adds texture, complexity, and the wine’s signature notes of hazelnut and vanilla.

This is a wine made for the table, especially with seafood such as crab, lobster, scallops, monkfish, or fish carpaccio.
