Pierre Ponnelle Chablis Blanc 2025 is a classic, mineral-driven Chardonnay from one of Burgundy’s most traditional houses. Made from grapes grown on the chalky, Kimmeridgian soils around Chablis, it delivers the crisp precision, freshness, and unmistakable character that have made Chablis a benchmark style for generations.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a pale golden colour with subtle green reflections. The nose is bright and refined, offering citrus, green apple, white flowers, and a delicate hint of flint and chalk. The palate is lively and focused, with fresh acidity, a clean mineral core, and a long, elegant finish. The 2025 vintage brings a particularly energetic balance of ripe fruit and cool terroir expression, giving the wine excellent gastronimic appeal and the potential to age gracefully over the next few years.

Production
This wine comes from Chardonnay vines planted in the limestone- and chalk-rich vineyards surrounding Chablis in northern Burgundy, where the cool climate helps preserve freshness and tension. The grapes are vinified primarily in stainless steel, with no dominant oak influence, to maintain the wine’s pure, terroir-driven profile and classic Chablis purity.

Food & Serving
A natural match for oysters, shellfish, grilled fish, sushi, poultry in light sauces, and goat cheese. Serve chilled at around 8-10°C to highlight its freshness and mineral edge; decanting is not necessary.
