Hand-harvested grapes and a traditional élevage in Slovenian oak give it the depth and finesse that have made Barolo a benchmark for serious Italian red wine.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows the poised, refined character expected of Barolo, with a vibrant core and a graceful, polished look. The nose opens with an intense floral lift of lavender, followed by ripe cherry and layered red-fruit aromas that give way to subtle spice and earthy complexity. On the palate, it is elegant and well-framed, with bright fruit, fine tannins, and a harmonious structure that already makes it inviting in youth. Its balance suggests excellent aging potential, and while it can be enjoyed now, this is a wine that should gain even more nuance and complexity with time in bottle.

Production
The grapes are carefully handpicked from Piedmont vineyards and vinified with a traditional approach, including maceration for 13–15 days to extract color, aroma, and tannin with precision. The wine is then aged for 18 months in Slovenian oak casks, followed by an additional year in bottle, allowing the Barolo’s structure to soften and its signature elegance to emerge.

Barolo is a natural partner for rich, savory dishes such as braised beef, game, truffle risotto, porcini pasta, and aged cheeses. Serve at 16–18°C and consider decanting for at least one hour, especially if drinking it young, to help the wine open fully and show its aromatic depth.
